Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure

1. Protection of Client Data

At BuildIt Estimating, we recognize that the architectural plans, engineering blueprints, bidding strategies, and project specifications you share with us represent your valuable intellectual property and competitive advantage.

2. Definition of Confidential Information

Confidential Information includes, but is not limited to, drawings, specifications, project names, bid amounts, financial data, and any communications marked as confidential. This extends to all files submitted through our online portal, via email, or shared cloud drives.

3. Our Obligations

BuildIt Estimating agrees to:

• Hold all Confidential Information in strict confidence.
• Use the Confidential Information solely for the purpose of generating cost estimates and takeoffs for the client.
• Not disclose such information to any competing contractors, third-party developers, or unauthorized personnel.
• Restrict access to files only to our internal team members who require it to perform their estimating duties.

4. Data Destruction

Upon written request from the client following the completion of our services, BuildIt Estimating will permanently delete all associated project files, blueprints, and generated estimates from our local servers and cloud storage environments.

5. Formal NDAs

We are happy to sign your company's standard Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before you send us any project files. Please email your NDA to info@buildit-estimating.com, and an authorized representative will review and sign it within 24 hours.
